Trick-or-Treat // What Miss Cupcake Wore

This was the first year that Miss Cupcake really understood the concept of trick-or-treating.
As a paranoid mamma, I felt more comfortable allowing her to collect candy at a local mall than the streets.
We had such a lovely evening together and made many wonderful family memories.

Miss Cupcake was the most gorgeous baby peacock that I have ever laid eyes on! She wore this lovely dress, sash, and headpiece from Snuggle Luv. I am never disappointed with the clothing and accessories that I receive from this fun online boutique.  I can hardly wait to find my little love a Christmas outfit from Snuggle Luv! She received oodles of compliments and -most importantly- she happily exclaimed "I am gorgeous" when she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the mirror.  This precious costume certainly made our Halloween picture perfect.

While I opted out of a full costume this year, I decided to stick with the peacock theme.  I wore a royal blue lace overlay dress along with a feathered headband.  Miss Cupcake giggled gleefully when she saw that mommy was wearing feathers just like her.  I treasure these little mommy/daughter moments that we share!
All the candy gathering can be quite exhausting when you are two!  After bolting around and indulging on lollipops (a very rare treat in our family), Miss Cupcake laid dramatically on the sidewalk and proclaimed, "The baby is tired!"
Miss Cupcake woke up the next morning and announced that she wanted to do Halloween again.
What did your little loves dress up as this year?

  1. Awww!!! Your little girl is adorable. Love her curls (my boy has curls too!). I am completely in love with your dress and the peacock combo that you two make. Very cute halloween outfit. My son was (per his request) a doctor-drummer. :)
