This weekend we headed to West Palm Beach for a mini-advernture at Lion Country Safari. This is Florida's only drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park that allowed my little family to enjoy the day with over 900 animals. With the animal displays and encounters, animal feeing experiences, 9 rides, and water sprayground, visitors are sure to have a memorable experience at Lion Country Safari.
The following are a few photos and tidbits of our fun-filled day.
We began with the drive-through experience which allowed us to have close encounters with the animals. Lion, zebras, rhinos... so many amazing animals surrounded the vehicles. At several points during the drive, vehicles had to stop to allow a variety of safari animals to cross the road. AMAZING!
Little Miss Cupcake was quite awestruck by the animals and was happy to have her beloved monkey along to share the experience.
Next, we strolled through the nature walk.
There were cozy little picnic areas along the way.
Be on the lookout for more details about Miss Cupcake's darling little
Paradise Palms Dress coming to the blog soon.
Many interesting shows were scheduled throughout the day.
The fun little petting zoo was full of friendly animals!
When Miss Cupcake spotted the carousel in the distance she could barely contain her excitement. Our entire little family joined in on the fun!
The kiddie train was also a hit!
Dear hubby and I enjoyed a spin on the ferris wheel.
Lots of fun photo ops were scattered around the park.
If you decide you want to upgrade to an annual pass (which you likely will!) you will receive a discount based on the admission you paid during your visit.
Looks like lots of fun, I have lived here my entire life and have never gone there!! We always end up doing something different.. I need to go!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a fun place! You should definitely go if you get the chance. :)
DeleteOh I'm so jealous. We are covered with snow so what I wouldn't do to have some of that nice sunshine you're sharing. Would also love to visit and that dress is just darling and so is your little one.
