I am excited to announce that my FREE photography service for families dealing with life-altering illnesses or who have other special circumstances will be opening early 2016. While child photography is my passion, these services will extend to all ages. I believe that photography is an excellent way of helping individuals appreciate the beauty within them and capturing memories that families will treasure for years to come.
I will NEVER charge individuals in need for these services. I will be partnering with local hospitals and medical services to connect with families.

We always enjoy our visits to SeaWorld Orlando! Planning your day is key to getting in as many of the attractions as possible. Keep in mind that it is best to to arrive at each theater 10-30 minutes prior to the indicated show time, depending upon how busy the park appears, to ensure seating together with your family.
See photos from our first family visit HERE.
About the rides
SeaWorld's rides are generally best to get done first thing in the morning to avoid the mid-day rush. The park's longest lines are typically at its newest attraction, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. This is a rather short dark ride followed by a visit to the park's penguin habitat. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin may not be a favorite among young children due to the lengthy wait, frigid temperatures, and darkness.
If you plan to visit Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, it is best to start your day there. Your next stops should probably be the following:
- Journey to Atlantis
Be aware that you may get soaking wet during the Journey to Atlantis ride.
Rides and attractions for small children, such as the carousel, are easy to access at any point in your day.
Clyde & Seamore's Sea Lion High®
11:00 AM, 1:15 PM, 3:30 PM
Clyde and Seamore's Sea Lion High is an all-new sea lion comedy adventure. Sea lions, walruses and otters take the stage for this aquatic-themed high school show where laughter and education go hand in hand (er, flipper).
10:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:30 PM
This theatrical show features dolphins, tropical birds and acrobats. Blue Horizons is a quite popular show and my personal favorite. Arrive to the stadium 30 minutes before showtime to be sure you get a seat.Park Location: Dolphin Theater
12:15 PM, 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM
The majestic killer whales make this show a favorite for many. My three year old Miss Cupcake was so excited about the vivid colors, vitality, and the global rhythms of the ocean in this all-new Shamu show, One Ocean®.
10:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 2:15 PM, 3:45 PM
Dogs and cats, ducks and doves, potbellied pigs and more star in this cute show! It is amazing to experience the wonderful connections that happen when animal trainers turn their attention toward these ordinary animals. I love that all of the animals used are rescues.
Where to eat
SeaWorld sells an All-Day-Dining Deal. This costs $32.99 for adults and $17.99 for children 3-9. This option allows you to enjoy two courses every time that you go through the line at its restaurants. You are welcome to make as many passes through the line as you would like. The All-Day-Dining Deal is available for purchase on the website or at the park.

Here is an example of the progression that will take place after using the mask. FYI- these are NOT my feet. However, I have included an actually picture of my peeling foot at the end.
Here is an actual photo of my foot several days after using the Grace & Stella® Foot Peel Mask. The first mask removed 90% of my calluses. I had one thick callus that required an additional mask to be completely removed. My feet have never felt so smooth! I plan to use the Grace & Stella® Foot Peel Mask once a month to maintain the results.

If you have been around Skinny Latte Mommy long, you probably already know that I am a huge fan of The Tropic Spa Patented Home Mist Tanning System. For those who may have never heard of this system, it is an amazing way to get a salon quality tan in the comfort of my own home. An instructional DVD is included with all the information that you need to get started. I hang this on my door and tan in the privacy of my own bathroom. Since it has been a few months since I first mentioned my love of this product, I thought it was time for a quick update.
I recently replaced the solution in my Home Mist Tanning System with the tanning formula refill. The refill kit was easy to change and the tanning solution in the cans were premixed so there was no room for error or improper mixing of the solution. I simply took out the empty bottles and snapped in the new ones! The refill kit contain everything that I need for 10 full body tans.
Since I have fair skin, I prefer to keep the results rather subtle. However, I could easily achieve a darker tan with he Tropic Spa Home Mist Tanning System if I desired. Here are a few photos that illustrate the results that I achieve.
The Tropic Spa tanning formulation is a clear fluid and will take 5 to 8 hrs for the tan to develop. The tan will last 5 to 8 days depending on proper skin care and moisturizing. I love that I can achieve a glowing tan without the harmful effects of the sun with The Tropic Spa Home Mist Tanning System. The tanning solution is FDA approved and safe to use for cosmetic purposes.

Miss Cupcake is what I affectionately refers to as a "spirited" child. There are moments when her energy level is off the charts, and she just needs a moment to regain her composure. However, getting a three year old to sit down long enough to take a few deep breaths is no easy task. This DIY Calm Down Jar is the perfect tool to get Miss Cupcake to relax for a moment... and actually enjoy it! The idea of a Calm Down Jar is in no way original to this post. There are oodles of great ideas floating around Pinterest. This is merely the version that we came up with.
You will need...
Jar with a tight lid
Treasures of your choice
What do to...
Fill 3/4 of the jar with warm water.
Add the glitter glue.
Shake water and glue mixture until the glue begins to melt.
Add the glitter and treasures.
We used sparkly beads for our "treasures", but the sky is truly the limit!
These treasures can include anything from LEGO people to coins.
The only rule is to make sure the objects do not float... you want these to sink.
Whenever Miss Cupcake needs to calm down, she gives the jar a good shake. This is a fantastic way to vent frustration or just get out a bit of extra energy. She is completely mesmerized by the sparkles and will sit staring intently at the jar until all the glitter drifts to the bottom.
TIP: You can control the length of time that it takes for the glitter to reach the bottom. Adding more glue will cause the glitter to take longer to settle. Keep your child's age and attention span in mind when choosing a time frame.

Our recent visit to the LEGOLAND Hotel was truly a spectacular experience. This five-story, 152-room hotel is located in Winter Haven, Florida and immerses guests into a creative LEGO world designed to bring children's imaginations to life. More than two million LEGO bricks make up over 2,000 LEGO models throughout the Hotel. The LEGOLAND Hotel is built for kids to take control, with LEGO surprises around every corner. It is truly a one of a kind experience!
At the LEGOLAND Hotel, kids are the main guests and unforgettable family memories are made. Each guest room has a fun theme: Pirate, Adventure, Kingdom, or LEGO® Friends. We chose to stay in the Kingdom room during our visit.
While Miss Cupcake adored everything about the Kingdom room, she was particularly excited about having her very own sleeping area. When we arrived to our room, a fun treasure hunt was waiting for her. She was beyond thrilled to follow the instructions (with the help of Daddy) and find the combination to unlock the treasure chest. Her "treasure" consisted of LEGO magazines, special drinks for tay, stay, LEGO kits, and more!
Even the bathrooms were decorated to perfection and very toddler friendly. Miss Cupcake was happy to see that the toilets had a child size toilet seat just like the one she has at home (only parent's of newly potty trained children will understand the profound importance of this feature).
Miss Cupcake loved curling up in the incredibly comfortable bed and watching The Lego Movie which is available on the TVs.
A stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel is a unique, resort experience including a full schedule of nightly entertainment for kids of all ages to enjoy. Will you compete in the Hero Games, meet your favorite Characters, join the nightly kids pajama party (Miss Cupcake's personal favorite) or do everything? Guests can enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk which overlooks the beautiful Lake Eloise. Be sure to keep an eye out for special LEGO surprises hidden in the trees! Splash and play in the zero-entry, heated pool with soft bricks to build while you swim. There was never a dull moment during our stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel. Visit the Concierge for a complete schedule of activities during your stay.
We loved the convenience of staying right next to the LEGOLAND park. This made it easy to get an early start to our fun filled day. From the breathtaking view atop Island in the Sky to the toddler friendly Duplo Valley, there is truly something for everyone!
The Brick-or-Treat event takes place weekends in October, and features trick-or-treating along the brick or treat trail, super brick build activities, the largest LEGO Jack-O-Lantern in the world, Halloween entertainment and an all-kids costume contest with brick-tastic prizes! Miss Cupcake had so much fun and was thrilled with the candy stash that she collected.
