DIY || Rain Boot Makeover

"The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain!"
- Dolly Parton

Miss Cupcake adores rainy days!
The runs for her rain boots the moment she spots a cloudy sky.
Her black rubber boots were looking a bit worn and faded, so we decided to glam them up a bit.

For this DIY we used:
Paper Towels
Tape (optional)

I stuffed the boots with paper towels to keep the paint from going inside.
Tape can also be applied to the bottom of the boots.

Next, I gave the boots a couple coats ofKrylon Metallic Gold Spray Paint.
This color was so gorgeous that I was tempted to forgo the glitter.

However, Miss Cupcake is a lover of all things sparkly so glitter was a must.
I gave the boots a light coat of Krylon Glitter Blast in Golden Glow.

 I coated the boots with Clear Acrylic Sealer, Matte to insure that the glitter would not rub off.
Miss Cupcake was thrilled with this girly rain boot makeover.
She can hardly wait to puddle splash in style!
