DIY Multipanel Mirror / Window Pane

I recently asked my dear hubby if he would build a decorative window pane to hang in our living room above my new Convenience Concepts French Country Hall Table.  He carefully listened to my many specifications. Most importantly, I wanted it to have a modern look unlike the many rustic window panes that I had seen on Pinterest.  After giving my dear hubby the desired measurements, he set to work. However, halfway through his project plans I spotted the multipanel mirrors on the Pottery Barn website.  Dear hubby graciously tweaked his plans accordingly.

After heading to the store to grab supplies, he set to work.  The entry building project took less than a couple hour for my dear hubby to finish. Next, I painted it with FolkArt Chalk Paint in White Adirondack and finished it with the FoldArt Clear Wax.  I had originally planned to purchase Annie Sloan chalk paint for several upcoming projects, but I was so impressed with the quality and price of the FolkArt Chalk Paint that I will certainly be buying more of this!

I simply adore the finished project! To be honest, I like it much more than the $300+ Pottery Barn version.  I plan to hang a small wreath over the multi panel mirror/window pane, and I am still deciding how I want to decorate the Convenience Concepts French Country Hall Table (which I am sure will change often- I already have plans for it as soon as I can get away with setting out my beloved pumpkins).
