Light and airy pastels are my favorite way to welcome springtime!  The darling Novogratz Vintage Tufted Sofa Sleeper was the perfect statement piece for my living room.   This elegant design is available in several popping colors like pink, green, and burgundy.  They are all stunning, but the soft pink my immediate favorite.  Not only does this this sofa feature soft, velvety fabric, but it adjusts to accommodate different positions.  This sofa is truly the perfect combination of vintage and contemporary.  It's as fun as it is stylish!  I love the clean and simple look that the Novogratz Vintage Tufted Sofa Sleeper provided.  As an added bonus, it easily reclines to a sleeping position providing an space for overnight guests.  I placed the sofa beneath my Fredrick Mantel which I painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint.  The topiary set helped to pull in the greens from the Aurora Radiance area rug.  The Gather sign from Walls of Wisdom was purchased as a print and framed myself.  I tossed on a few linen throw pillows for a finishing touch.

The Novogratz Vintage Tufted Sofa Sleeper has become my favorite place to relax with a cup of coffee and Magnolia Journal.  The velvety-soft fabric  makes everyday feel a bit more luxurious.

Miss Cupcake was beyond excited with the coordinating Novagratz chair. This comfortable and stylish armchair helped pull together the contemporary vintage style in our living room. The gorgeous details include Victorian style wooden legs and slim sloped arms for a refined look.

I am also in the process of creating a coastal farmhouse inspired bedroom.
While the decor is far from complete, I wanted to share a tiny glimpse into our beachy room.

The moment I spotted this DHP Manila Metal Bed I knew it would be ideal for this decor project.  This piece is contemporary yet classic.  The white finish on this bed is gorgeous and adds contrast to some of the natural wood pieces in the room.  The simple rail design and high profile headboard add a touch of elegance.  The quality of this solid metal bed is outstanding.  This bed includes metal slats and supporting legs.  I was initially nervous about how the slats would hold up, but I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this bed feels.

The headboard on this  DHP Manila Metal Bed is tall enough to provide support when setting up in bed and looks great with pillows.   The simple details look fantastic with the coastal decor and truly pull the entire room together.  Our old mattress was uncomfortable and stained from a coffee spill (oopsy!) so we decided to upgrade to a 14" Encased Coil & Memory Foam Signature Sleep Mattress. This gel infused Memory Foam mattress allows airflow while molding to the body's natural shape.  It is oh-so-cozy and looks gorgeous on our bed.

This was my first experience with a mattress in a box, and I had no idea what to expect when it arrived.  Despite my dear hubby's apprehension about the mattress dramatically popping out at him when he opened the box, the instructions where straightforward and the processes was uneventful (no dramatic popping occurred).  I loved the convenience of having the mattress delivered in a box.  It was the perfect way to finish the DHP Manila Metal Bed, and there was no need for a box spring.   This Signature Sleep Mattress is incredibly comfortable, and I expect it to last for years to come.

Now all I have to do is get Miss Cupcake out of the bed so I can get some much needed sleep.
